Master of Design candidate, Jiyeon Song, has created this amazing interactive pavilion out little more than perforated panels. The specific arrangements of the perforations reveal different shadow-poems according to the solar calendar: a theme of new-life during the summer solstice, a reflection on the passing of time at the period of the winter solstice.
Matthew Woodson was born and raised in rural southern Indiana. He graduated from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago in early 2006. He still lives in Chicago in an apartment full of hardwood floors and taxidermy, with an unapologetically vocal cat and a dog that is skinnier than the grain
